About us

Berging Brewery is a brewery, based at Berging in The Osmoor. The company was founded on 25 May 1925 by Marta Pahl and has traded for 101 years.

Founded between the wars that other countries fought, Berging Brewery supply beer for the inns and the regiments from Berging to the whole country. Telephone the works.

Our founder. Marta Pahl, clerk, was born at Kohlmar on 23 August 1869 and died on 8 October 1937.

We make and supply beer for the inns and the regiments. Ask your dealer, or telephone the works at Berging.

Sold at Berging and through dealers in every region. The town has 6 other brewing houses; ours is the one with our name on it.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Short Lane since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.

1. 1925 The company is founded at Berging.
2. 1959 Sarpeten Stake & Plank is acquired by Berging Brewery. In the press.
3. 1960 Berging Brewery lists on the Vellmar Exchange as PGL. In the press.
